The Role
We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer to support the delivery of a modern web application built using.NET, Angular and TypeScript. You will take ownership of automated testing across the full stack, helping the team improve coverage, identify defects early and deliver reliable software at pace.
You will work closely with developers, product and delivery colleagues to design, build and maintain a robust automation testing framework. The role will cover frontend, API and integration testing within an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated tests for .NET and Angular applications.
- Build frontend test coverage using TypeScript-based automation tools.
- Create automated API and integration tests across backend services.
- Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Investigate defects, analyse test failures and support root-cause resolution.
- Work collaboratively with developers to improve testability and overall software quality.
Essential
- Strong commercial experience as an Automation Test Engineer.
- Hands-on experience testing applications built with.NET, Angular and TypeScript.
- Experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
- Strong API testing experience using tools such as Postman, REST Assured or equivalent.
- Comfortable working independently within a remote Agile team.

- Knowledge of performance, accessibility or security testing.
- Experience testing microservices-based applications.

- Contract role: 3 months initially, with likely extensions
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
- Rate: £330 per day
