Role Description

The Automation Specialist role is a part-time position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. In this role, the Automation Specialist will design, implement, and maintain automation solutions that streamline internal marketing and operational processes. Day-to-day tasks include:

The Automation Specialist will collaborate with marketing, operations, and technical stakeholders to:

  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Ensure quality assurance standards are met
  • Continuously improve efficiency and reliability

The role also involves:

  • Documenting automation processes
  • Providing user support and training
  • Recommending enhancements aligned with Nebula’s business goals and client needs

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Process Automation and Automation to design, implement, and optimize workflow solutions.
  • Experience with Troubleshooting and Quality Assurance to diagnose issues, validate functionality, and maintain reliable systems.
  • Ability to create and execute Test Cases to ensure automated processes perform as expected under various scenarios.
  • Familiarity with common automation tools, scripting, or low-code platforms used for marketing, operations, or business process automation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to process improvement.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment.
  • Prior experience in a technical, marketing operations, or systems-focused role is beneficial; exposure to SMEs or service-based businesses is a plus.
  • Relevant education or training in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field is advantageous, or equivalent practical experience.
