Job Title: Automation Tester
Rate: £350 (Inside IR35)
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote
Clearance: Active SC
Stages: 1 Stage
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web-based applications.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and convert them into effective test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into deployment processes.
- Collaborate with developers to improve testability and software quality.
- Produce test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing standards, processes, and frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience in test automation using Java, C#, or Python.
- Knowledge of test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
- Experience using defect management tools such as Jira.
