Position: QA Engineer
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $140K - $180K/yr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Own testing activities across new features, product improvements, and bug fixes.
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, track, and validate bugs throughout the development lifecycle.
- Build and maintain automated tests to improve regression coverage and overall testing efficiency.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across the product.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand requirements, identify potential risks, and ensure appropriate test coverage.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including planning, refinement, and release cycles.
- Identify opportunities to improve QA processes, testing practices, and overall product quality.
- Manage testing priorities and communicate blockers, risks, and findings throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements
- Proven experience in software quality assurance within agile, fast-paced environments.
- Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies, test planning, and test execution.
- Hands-on experience implementing, maintaining, and executing automated tests and testing frameworks.
- Proven experience performing functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, QA processes, and release validation.
- Solid experience with bug-tracking systems, test management tools, and version control platforms.
- Proven experience identifying, documenting, reproducing, and validating software defects.
- Strong understanding of test coverage, regression strategies, and quality assurance best practices.
