Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester with 6+ years of experience in software testing and test automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts and ensuring the quality of applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects.
- Perform API and database testing.
- Analyse test results and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and release activities.
- Coordinate with developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams.

Mandatory Skills
- 6+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
- Strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum.
- Experience in regression and end-to-end testing.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have
- Cucumber / BDD experience.
- Performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
- Docker/Kubernetes knowledge.
- AWS/Azure cloud testing experience.
- ISTQB certification.
