Role Description
The Automation Tester is a full-time, on-site role based in London. The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, with a focus on ensuring the reliability and performance of software applications. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Reviewing requirements
- Creating and executing test cases
- Performing both manual and automated testing

The Automation Tester will collaborate with developers, QA professionals, and project stakeholders to identify defects, document test results, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes. The role may also involve:
- Setting up test environments
- Supporting regression and integration testing
- Helping refine testing standards and best practices
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Assurance skills, including understanding of QA methodologies and software testing life cycle.
- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing and designing, executing, and maintaining Test Cases.
- Proficiency in Automation testing, including building and running automated test suites using common frameworks or tools.
- Experience with API Testing, including validation of RESTful or SOAP services and use of relevant tools.
- Ability to analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience in software testing or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
