Newbury (Berkshire)

Salary: £30,500 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, Saturday Morning Rota

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Administrator to join our client’s busy and professional automotive bodyshop.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator who understands the fast-paced nature of an automotive body repair environment and is confident managing multiple tasks while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day administration of the bodyshop.
  • Booking vehicles into the bodyshop and coordinating customer appointments.
  • Liaising with customers, insurance companies, accident management companies, and vehicle manufacturers.
  • Managing customer updates throughout the repair process.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate job cards and repair documentation.
  • Processing estimates, invoices, and associated paperwork.
  • Updating internal systems and ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Liaising with technicians, estimators, and bodyshop management to ensure vehicles progress smoothly through the repair process.
  • Monitoring vehicle movements and repair progress.
  • Handling customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Supporting the Bodyshop Manager and wider team with general administrative duties.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience within an automotive bodyshop, accident repair centre, dealership, or motor trade environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Good IT skills and experience using relevant dealership or bodyshop management systems.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
