Cazoo

Cazoo, is the ultimate destination for car enthusiasts and buyers alike! As a leader in the market, we pride ourselves on providing unparalleled search tools, expert car guides, insightful reviews, and a comprehensive vehicle price guide. Our mission is simple: to empower buyers to find their perfect car efficiently and with confidence, while also helping automotive retailers reach millions of eager buyers.

At Cazoo, you'll be part of a team that's revolutionising the way people buy and sell cars. If you're ready to drive your career forward in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, Cazoo is the place for you. Join us and be a part of shaping the future of automotive retail!

The Role

Most car content in the UK sounds the same: safe, same, written to please a brand guideline rather than a reader. We want someone who'd rather build something with a point of view than manage a content calendar.

You'll be the voice and the face of Cazoo's automotive content, writing everything from SEO hubs to press commentary, making video for TikTok and YouTube, and appearing on camera as our automotive expert. You'll work with agencies, creators and production partners, but the editorial standard is entirely yours to set.

If you're happiest pitching the bold idea and then actually making it, you'll like it here.

Reports To:

Head of Marketing

Fixed Term Contract (6 months)

  • Give creative direction on edits, visuals, music and animation, and sign off on quality
  • Build content-led campaigns with one clear narrative running across every platform
  • Appear on camera as Cazoo's automotive expert
  • Work with new car OEMs and our commercial team to create review content
  • Get out to automotive events and shows to capture what's actually relevant, brief the bigger shoots, write the scripts, shape the core idea

Written Content & SEO

  • Write as Cazoo's named automotive expert across SEO landing pages, blogs, website copy, social, press, email and campaign materials
  • Own the Cazoo blog and content hubs: strategy, articles, templates, uploads, structure, and measuring what's actually working
  • Build genuine editorial authority under your own byline
  • Run keyword research with our Senior SEO Manager and help prioritise search pages on the roadmap
  • Use AI tools like Jasper to speed up drafting, without letting quality or voice slip
  • Optimise for AI search and answer engines, so Cazoo is the source cited when someone asks an assistant what to trust
  • Keep content current across SEO, blog, competitions and press pages on Cazoo.co.uk and dealer sites
  • Build automotive conversation on Reddit and other social channels
  • Produce case studies, testimonials and social-first content for dealers and partners

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
