Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Automotive Electrician at Vision Techniques UK Ltd. The Automotive Electrician will install, inspect, and maintain electrical and electronic safety systems on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring equipment operates reliably and in line with company standards.

- Diagnosing electrical faults
- Performing repairs

- Documenting work completed in accordance with technical and safety requirements
The role involves collaborating with technical support and engineering teams, providing clear feedback from field installations, and occasionally guiding customers or partners through basic troubleshooting.
The successful candidate will manage their own schedule, work independently at remote locations, and uphold high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge of electricity and practical electrical work within automotive environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair of vehicle electrical systems, including safety and monitoring equipment.
- Candidates should possess troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving electrical and electronic faults efficiently.
- Candidates should possess understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to automotive systems and safety products.
- Recognized vocational qualification or apprenticeship in automotive electrical work or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience with vehicle safety systems, telematics, or camera/monitoring equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and capability to work independently in remote settings.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
