Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Automotive Electrician at ACS Installs – Automotive Camera Specialists LTD. The Automotive Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems related to vehicle safety camera equipment and associated wiring in a variety of fleet vehicles. The role also involves liaising with clients and internal teams to provide technical support, accurate documentation of work completed, and adherence to company quality and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong electrical maintenance skills, including routine inspection and servicing of vehicle electrical systems.
- Proficiency in fault finding and diagnosis of electrical issues in automotive environments.
- Experience with electrical repairs and general maintenance & repair of vehicle components and installations.
- Solid understanding of electricity principles as applied to automotive systems and low-voltage equipment.
- Relevant automotive electrical qualification or apprenticeship; additional certifications in vehicle electronics or telematics are beneficial.
- Experience working with vehicle camera systems, fleet safety technologies, or related automotive installations is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
