We are hiring an experienced Requirement for Automotive Diagnostics & Feature Configuration Software Engineer for an exciting onsite opportunity in Gaydon, UK.

  • Location: Gaydon, UK
  • Experience: 5–10 Years
  • Work Mode: Onsite
  • Language: English

Job Description:

  • The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and a strategic thinker, with the ability to support, develop, and guide a team
  • Relevant experience in Diagnostic Configuration, functionality, and SIMS Triage
  • Software Engineer following Agile Principles
  • Ability for issue triage, debugging, vehicle testing & integration for the Feature Configuration related Software Issues
  • Working knowledge of Embedded C, C++, QNX, Trace32, Canape, Vector Tools, MATLAB-Simulink, JIRA, GIT, and Diagnostic functionality ISO 14229
  • Effective change and configuration management skills
  • Ability to author and review requirements either through a model or through requirements defined in a structured format such as EARS (Easy Approach to Requirements Syntax)
  • Ability for triage SW at the code level to figure out the Root Cause in the Software (Fish bone, 8-D diagram)
