Role: Automotive Management Consultant

Location: London

Career Level: Consultant (CL9)

Accenture is a global professional services company providing a broad range of market-leading services to our clients. We are looking for an ambitious Consultant to join our Industry & Enterprise Automotive Consulting practice. In this role you will have an enviable opportunity to work with some of the world's most iconic Automotive clients — from National Sales Companies (NSCs) and leading retailers, to OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and new mobility players — on cutting-edge and complex transformation programmes.

Our approach combines deep industry knowledge, market-leading thought leadership, and human ingenuity — blended with the power of AI and technology. As Accenture's reinvention partner of choice for its clients, everything we do is shaped by a simple belief: that in an industry designed for mobility, data and intelligence should be equally free to move. You will help clients harness the power of agentic AI and connected data to drive agility, growth, and lasting impact.

Inclusion and diversity are woven into the fabric of our business, and our core values of Stewardship, Best People, Client Value Creation, Integrity and Respect for the Individual have enabled us to create One Global Network for clients all over the world.

"Today, our clients need more value faster, and Accenture is their reinvention partner of choice. We are writing the playbook for how to be the most AI-enabled, client-focused professional services company in the world and a great place to work for our people — our Reinventors." — Julie Sweet, Accenture Chair & CEO

Our Team

The Automotive industry is undergoing one of the most profound transformations in its history. The shift to electric and software-defined vehicles, the disruption of traditional mobility and retail models, and the increasing pressure to decarbonise supply chains are reshaping the competitive landscape for every player in the value chain — from design and engineering, through manufacturing and distribution, to sales, aftersales, and service.

Accenture's UKI Automotive practice works with the full breadth of that value chain. A significant and growing part of our client portfolio is National Sales Companies — the organisations responsible for bringing vehicle brands to market in the UK, and for managing the relationships between manufacturers, their retailer networks, and end customers. NSCs face a distinctive set of challenges: unlocking siloed data assets, modernising customer engagement, optimising retailer performance, and building the commercial agility to compete in a fast-moving market. We believe that data freedom — the ability to connect customer, vehicle, finance, supply chain, and retailer data — is the founding enabler of their reinvention.

Accenture is at the forefront of this change — helping the world's leading Automotive companies achieve sustainable and profitable growth. As our clients' reinvention partner of choice, we bring together Strategy, Consulting, Technology, Operations, and Industry X capabilities through our integrated Reinvention Services to help them deliver lasting impact — from strategy through to implementation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
