Carworld Supermarket and Superstore is a leading used car centre in the UK, known for offering high-quality nearly new and used vehicles at some of the lowest prices in the country. Located in Peterborough, the business operates from a 6-acre site with up to 2,000 vehicles.
Role Description
Carworld Car Supermarket are recruiting mechanics to maintain and repair vehicles in one of our Peterborough preparation centres.

This is a full-time and permanent opportunity with a negotiable salary for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming for maximum reliability and functionality.
Great pay. Salary depending on experience Range - £33k to £75k
Responsibilities
- Previous experience necessary.
- Must have previous experience in diagnostics and be proficient in this area.
- Troubleshooting issues and fixing them
- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
- PDI's
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

- Ability to work alone
- Excellent knowledge about motor technology
- Methodical and organised
- Good concentration
- Able to work to strict deadlines.
