Job Opportunity: Vehicle Painter I Vehicle Prepper
Location: Enfield
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Working Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 07.00am to 17.00pm
Salary: £20.02 per hour I £17.80 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vehicle Painter and Vehicle Prepper to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on all types of makes and models of vehicles, you will be an integral part of our team as a Vehicle Painter operative.
Vehicle Painter
Key Responsibilities:
- Mixing and matching paint colours
- Paint application
- Prepping vehicles prior to painting
- Sanding and masking
- Rectifying paint imperfections
- Inspecting of vehicles to make sure there’s no defects and perfect finish every time.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Paint technician
- Full EU /UK Driver’s License

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepping vehicles prior to painting
- Sanding and masking
- Filler work and small repairs
- Machine Polishing
- Undertake rectification of scratches and scuffs
- Flattening, polishing, and touching up
- Inspect finished vehicles to ensure no defects, perfect finish every time.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of prepping and polishing of vehicles.
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in a similar role is required
Skills and Experience:
- You will be an experienced Painter or Prepper within a Bodyshop environment
- Use working knowledge and initiative to ensure the most appropriate repair methods are used
- Great eye for detail
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team
- The ability to maintain High quality Standards in fast-paced environment
- An awareness of safety procedures
