Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience as an Automotive Parts Person, Parts Advisor, or in a similar parts role
  • Ford Parts experience considered a strong asset
  • Strong automotive parts knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Accurate computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Automotive Parts certification considered an asset
  • Valid BC Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Availability to work scheduled Saturdays as required

Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 per year + Bonus Plans

What Your Day Will Look Like

Customer Service

  • Greet customers promptly in person and over the phone
  • Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service
  • Accurately identify and source the correct parts for customer and technician needs
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, warranties, and delivery times
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Build lasting relationships that encourage repeat business

Parts Operations

  • Interpret customer requests and accurately identify required automotive parts
  • Recommend additional parts and accessories when appropriate
  • Assist the Service Department with timely and accurate parts support
  • Process customer orders, quotes, invoices, and parts requests efficiently and accurately
  • Receive, inspect, stock, label, and organize incoming inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, returns, core returns, and warranty parts processing

Inventory & Organization

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Ensure inventory is properly stored, labelled, and easily accessible
  • Complete paperwork, documentation, and data entry accurately and on time
  • Keep pricing guides, parts catalogs, and electronic inventory systems current
  • Assist with inventory counts and inventory control processes
  • Lift and move parts weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the workday

Product Knowledge

  • Stay current with Ford products, accessories, manufacturer programs, and promotions
  • Maintain knowledge of aftermarket products and industry trends
  • Participate in dealership and manufacturer training programs
  • Promote dealership specials, accessories, and value-added products whenever appropriate
  • Continuously develop product knowledge to better support customers, technicians, and dealership operations
