Role Description
As an Automotive Service Advisor at Sandicliffe Loughborough, you will be the primary contact between customers and the service department, managing bookings, vehicle drop-offs, and collection times. You will assess customer needs, explain recommended maintenance and repair work, prepare estimates, and gain approval for service tasks. You will coordinate with technicians, monitor the progress of work, and keep customers updated on status, costs, and timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling enquiries in person and by phone, updating service records, processing invoices and payments, and promoting additional services that support vehicle safety and performance. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Loughborough dealership.

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance and Automotive Repair to confidently discuss service needs and technical issues with customers and technicians.
- Candidates should possess basic computer and administrative skills, including use of dealership management or service booking systems.
- Relevant experience as a service advisor or in an automotive, retail, or customer-facing environment is beneficial.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to move vehicles safely on-site are advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a service team, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accuracy under time pressure is preferred.
