Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Service Advisor role based in the Greater Southampton or Portsmouth Areas. The Automotive Service Advisor will be responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle concerns, and accurately recording service requirements. The role involves coordinating with technicians, explaining recommended repairs and maintenance, and preparing service estimates and invoices. The advisor will keep customers informed on progress, ensure timely completion of work, and promote additional services where appropriate. Maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction, upholding brand values, and following safety and compliance procedures are key aspects of the day-to-day work.

- Candidates should possess knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic automotive repair processes.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Candidates should have clear, professional communication skills for interacting with customers and workshop teams.
- Candidates should bring organizational and time-management skills to handle bookings, documentation, and follow-ups.
- Previous experience in an automotive service advisor or similar dealership role is beneficial.
- Familiarity with service management systems and basic computer skills is an advantage.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to move vehicles safely on-site are preferred.
