Monarch Ford in Exeter, CA is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join its service team. This role covers a full range of diagnostic and repair work, from engine and transmission to electrical, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, executed accurately and efficiently against dealership and manufacturer standards. Ford certification is preferred, and candidates with a strong general automotive background are encouraged to apply.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Complete all repair work specified on repair orders with accuracy and efficiency, following dealership and manufacturer standards
- Diagnose vehicle issues across engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems
- Operate diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to test components and systems
- Road-test vehicles to confirm repair quality and performance before returning them to the customer
- Advise the Service Advisor of any additional service needs identified during the job and provide accurate time estimates
- Carry out warranty repairs in compliance with Ford manufacturer specifications and documentation requirements
- Inspect vehicles and document findings clearly on each repair order

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of service technician experience preferred
- Ford certification preferred
- B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
- Prior Ford dealership experience preferred
- Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination and the dexterity required for precision repair work
- Basic computer competency and ability to learn new repair procedures and specifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
