Contract to Permanent basis
IRO A GBP 30,000 per annum
Based near Daventry / Banbury

Your duties as the Automotive Stores Person:
- Goods Receipt: Serve as the crucial link by efficiently receiving parts, managing the goods-in process, and ensuring smooth communication throughout.
- Quality Control: Carefully check and verify incoming goods, promptly notifying the purchasing team of any discrepancies to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Precision Storage: Ensure all parts are accurately placed into our storage facility, maintaining organisation and ease of access for the team.
- Parts Picking and Kitting: Pick parts with precision, whether as individual items or in kits, and ensure that every part is presented in a manner that reflects the companys high standards.
- Error-Free Barcode Management: Utilise a barcode stock control system with zero tolerance for errors, ensuring flawless inventory tracking.
- Professional Packaging: Bag, label, and package parts with care, ensuring all items are properly protected, clearly identified, and securely placed on trolleys with a detailed manifest.
- Audit and Issue Resolution: Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and proactively resolve or escalate any issues that arise, ensuring swift and effective solutions.
- Shortage Reporting: Accurately complete and report any shortages, contributing to the smooth operation of the supply chain.
- Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Uphold housekeeping duties with diligence and actively follow Health and Safety guidelines to promote a safety-first culture within the warehouse.

- Experience with warehouse management systems and stock control systems, for example, SAP/Sage, etc.
- Previous warehouse experience
- Strong numerical literacy
- Ideally, experience with Automotive parts and accessories (or other niche manufacturing)
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to do manual handling and regular heavy lifting
- Strong data analysis skills to support decision-making
- Effective problem solver with a logical approach
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing demands
- Shares our commitment to detail and high standards in every task

- Enjoy a Day Shift
Pay A GBP 14.92 per hour PAYE
