Role Description
The Automotive Technician role at CCM Garages is a full-time, on-site position based in Surrey. The technician will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including MOT inspections, servicing, and scheduled repairs, to ensure vehicles are safe and reliable. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Diagnosing and investigating faults
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs
- Completing manufacturer-led servicing
- Working on suspension and other key systems
The role also involves:
- Documenting work performed
- Following manufacturer and company standards
- Communicating findings and recommendations clearly to the service team
The technician will contribute to a professional workshop environment, uphold health and safety practices, and support the delivery of high-quality customer service.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine Maintenance & Repair.
- Practical skills in performing servicing tasks.
- Practical skills in servicing, maintenance, and repair of Electric and Hybrid vehicles.
- Proven Automotive Repair skills, including fault investigation and system repairs.
- Experience and proficiency working on multiple vehicle brands.
- Relevant automotive qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) and professional certifications are beneficial.
- Experience in an independent garage or dealership workshop environment, with familiarity using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, maintain accurate records, and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
