Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Technician role based in Purfleet. The Automotive Technician will perform routine vehicle maintenance, diagnostic checks, and repairs on a range of fleet and lease vehicles, ensuring they remain safe and operational. Daily tasks include:

- Conducting oil changes
- Inspecting and repairing suspension components
- Identifying mechanical issues
- Completing general maintenance and repair work
The role also involves:
- Accurately documenting work performed
- Following workshop safety procedures
- Collaborating with colleagues and service advisors
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship
The technician will contribute to the garage’s commitment to quality by adhering to manufacturer specifications and using approved parts.

Qualifications
- Skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine Oil Changes
- Skills in Automotive Repair and broader Maintenance & Repair tasks
- Skills in diagnosing and repairing Suspension systems
- Relevant automotive certification or apprenticeship, such as NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent, is preferred
- Experience working in a garage or fleet service environment and familiarity with OEM/dealer parts is beneficial
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, use diagnostic tools, and follow safety and compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the UK
