Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Technician role based at Amersham Audi in the United Kingdom. The Automotive Technician will carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on Audi vehicles in line with manufacturer standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing oil changes, inspecting and maintaining vehicle systems, addressing suspension issues, and completing general maintenance and repair work. The role involves accurately recording work performed, consulting service advisors and other technicians on complex issues, and ensuring all vehicles are returned to customers in a safe and roadworthy condition. The technician will follow health and safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and support a positive customer experience through reliable and efficient service.

  • Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine Maintenance & Repair tasks.
  • Hands-on experience performing Oil Changes and related service checks.
  • Proficiency in Automotive Repair, including fault finding and component replacement.
  • Knowledge of Suspension systems and ability to diagnose and repair suspension-related issues.
  • Relevant automotive technician qualification or apprenticeship (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with modern diagnostic tools and following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to follow established processes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a workshop team.
  • Full, valid driver’s license suitable for driving in the United Kingdom.
