The Automotive Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Bidford-On-Avon. This role involves performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, inspections, and scheduled services on a range of modern and classic vehicles. The technician will diagnose and carry out automotive repairs, work on suspension and performance modifications, and support ECU remapping and tuning activities under guidance from the tuning team. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards, accurately documenting service and repair activities, and communicating clearly with colleagues and supervisors. The role may also involve supporting vehicle upgrades, assisting with restoration projects, and maintaining a clean, organized workshop environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for a variety of vehicle types.
  • Experience performing Oil Changes and routine service tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Hands-on experience in Automotive Repair, including diagnostics and fault finding.
  • Knowledge of Suspension systems, including inspection, repair, and upgrades.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in automotive technology or mechanics.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service data, and diagnostic reports.
  • Comfort working with performance tuning, ECU remapping, or willingness to learn these skills.
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bidford-On-Avon as part of a collaborative workshop team.
  • Prior experience with performance vehicles, motorsport, or classic car restoration is an advantage.
