Training Programme Manager – Automotive Retail
Learning & Development | Automotive Retail | South UK (Hybrid) | up to £60,000 + Bonus
Kineo Connect is working with a leading international automotive consultancy to appoint a Training Programme Manager. This is a rare chance to join a business that partners with some of the world's most prestigious automotive brands, shaping the capability, customer experience and performance of their retail networks across the UK and beyond.
If you're a strong programme manager who enjoys managing senior stakeholders and building learning that actually changes how a retail network performs, this one is worth a look.
Please note: automotive retail experience is essential for this role. Whether that's from a dealer network, an OEM, or a consultancy, you'll need a genuine understanding of how a retail network operates. Applications without an automotive background are unlikely to progress.
At a glance
- Location: South UK — hybrid working, 2-3 days per week in the office/onsite
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week — permanent
- Salary: up to £60,000 per annum + £6,000 performance bonus
The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established consultancy operating across Europe, with a client base that includes household names in the premium and luxury automotive space. Their UK operation is growing, and they're looking for a capable Programme Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of training and L&D programmes, managing each one from initial scoping and budgeting through to delivery and evaluation.
You'll be the senior point of contact for major clients, working alongside their L&D and retail teams to understand where the skills gaps are and to shape learning that closes them. The culture is flat, fast-moving and genuinely collaborative, a business where your ideas will be heard and your impact will be visible.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
