AUTOMOTIVE TREASURY ANALYST

Salary: £42000+15% bonus (£6300)+ Car scheme and additional £200 monthly parking allowance ( £2400 p/a)
Location: London
Work style: Office based

The role

This is a new role in AUTOMOTIVE FINANCE & TREASURY where you'll work across dealer funding, wholesale and retail vehicle finance, credit risk, banking relationships, payments and new finance programmes. You'll be working directly with banks, dealers and internal commercial teams as the company continues to grow its UK business.

This is not a traditional treasury job. It is actually much closer to automotive finance + dealer funding + credit/risk + treasury operations. In this role you will get involved in dealer floorplan/wholesale finance, retail finance, banking facilities, dealer credit, payments, FX and will develop and maintain new banking relationships. You will also help launch financing products and projects around campaigns, retention and used cars.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Duties:

  • Helping make sure the funding infrastructure is in place that allows the dealer network to buy, hold and ultimately sell vehicles.
  • The heart of the role is around detailed, accurate financial work — payments, transactions, numbers, checks and analysis.
  • Around that sits the more varied side: dealer problems + credit risk + banks + vehicle financing + projects + internal stakeholders.
  • Undertake weekly reviews of treasury activity: checking upcoming payments, creating e-banking payments, arranging fund transfers and potentially FX transactions.
  • Monitor the day-to-day floorplan and retail vehicle-finance arrangements supporting the dealer network.
  • Liaise with Dealers assessing a dealer's financial health and making a risk-based recommendation
  • Communicate regularly with banking partners around wholesale/dealer funding facilities
  • Onboard new banking partners
  • Introduce a new retail or wholesale finance product, and work with the banks and internal teams to help get the programme operational.
