Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
Job Title: Mobile Vehicle Technician
Location: Various locations across the UK (Mobile Role)
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday – Friday)
We are seeking mobile qualified Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics to join our established automotive workshop. The role involves replacing driver and passenger airbags at customer locations, throughout the UK. This is a perfect role for a technician who enjoys autonomy, hates being stuck in a garage all day, and wants to manage their own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer homes or workplaces across the UK to service vehicles on-site.
- Diagnose and replace faulty airbags, seatbelt pretensioners, and crash sensors.
- Carry out diagnostic checks using industry-standard equipment.
- Reset airbag warning lights and ensure all safety systems are fully operational post-repair.
- Maintain a professional image while representing the company at customer premises.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety standards and complies with UK regulations.
- Manage your own daily route and schedule (Monday to Friday).

Skills & Technical Experience Required
- Must possess a valid Full UK Driving License.
- Must have your own van (suitable for carrying tools and parts).
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Auto Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle safety systems, specifically Airbags and SRS.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Own set of standard tools (specialist diagnostic tools will be provided).

Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or similar).
- Experience working as a mobile technician.
- Experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
