Enterprises everywhere are overpaying for managed services — paying millions every year for IT operations staffed by people who spend 80% of their time on noise. Firemind has built the alternative. Autonomous Operations resolves infrastructure incidents with AI — detecting, diagnosing, and fixing in minutes, without a ticket queue or an on-call rota. It is live in production with customers today, resolving around 90% of incidents without human touch.

Firemind is now building the commercial motion to take this to market at scale in the UK. We are looking for a relationship-led commercial operator who opens doors on the strength of operational credibility, wins through trust, and ideally arrives with a customer in their network on day one.

About Firemind

Firemind has built an AI operating engine that runs enterprise IT estates autonomously, live in production for many customers today, resolving around 90% of incidents without human touch — removing the need for a traditional MSP. We are an AWS Premier Tier partner, an Anthropic Authorised Reseller, and an NVIDIA embedded partner, and our AI Transformation portfolio (including Claude Enablement, Sandbox, Control Plane, Build Sprint, and AI FinOps) helps enterprises adopt AI safely, inside their own technology estate.

About the role

You will be opening doors at enterprise companies currently overspending on managed services, running the first two meetings on your own, and navigating deals to a pilot for Firemind’s Autonomous Operations. This is not a high-volume outbound role. It is a relationship-led, consultative sale where you win through trust, operational credibility, and the depth of the network you bring with you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Twelve months in, you will have landed at least 12 UK reference customers, run a series of executive events and campaigns that have put Firemind on the map for CTO-level buyers, and built a library of Autonomous Operations use case stories that the wider team can pull from. You will have done this not by running sequences, but by being the person your customers call.

What you'll do

  • Activate your network from day one. The best candidates arrive with at least one portable customer relationship. We will ask you directly: can you bring 12 customers in year one?
  • Work the partner ecosystem — such as AWS, Azure, and GCP — as a channel and co-sell lever. Use all available funding eligibility, field relationships, and SI partnerships to source and qualify accounts.
  • Organise executive visibility events to build Firemind's brand in the UK IT leadership community.
  • Build a reusable use case collection — Autonomous Operations + AI stories per industry, technology stack, and buyer context that sales and marketing can pull from.
  • Navigate deals to pilot: co-design the proof model with the customer's engineering team, define success metrics, handle internal stakeholder alignment, and bring in the closer for commercial terms.

What we're looking for

Required:

  • A services-to-commercial career arc: your foundation is in tech consulting, managed services, cloud operations, or IT outsourcing — then you crossed into sales or business development leadership. You understand the business and the technology you are disrupting.
  • Relationship seller by nature. You win through trust, depth, and long-term account ownership — not outbound volume and pipeline coverage ratios.
  • Network carrier: active CxO relationships from prior roles that you can bring to Firemind. At interview we will ask you to describe a potential first customer.
  • Comfortable running C-suite conversations — CTO, VP Infrastructure, Head of Ops — and able to hold the room on your own without a pre-sales engineer for technical discussions.
  • A track record of navigating a complex B2B sale from first meeting to signed contract or pilot, in a services or infrastructure context.
  • Genuine understanding of how AI is changing the economics of managed services — not buzzwords, but conviction.

Nice to have:

  • Partner ecosystem background: AWS co-sell experience, hyperscaler or SI relationships with revenue targets, or channel development experience.
  • Track record in IT-related SaaS sales alongside managed services and infrastructure experience.
  • Experience building a greenfield territory from scratch with no inbound pipeline.
  • Ability to whiteboard an infrastructure operations flow — incident lifecycle, monitoring stack, escalation chain.

How to apply

Apply via Firemind careers with your CV and a short note on a customer relationship from your existing network that could become a Firemind prospect, and why the Autonomous Operations opportunity interests you now.
