Role Outline

We're looking for a passionate and experienced AV Account Director to become a key member of our AV team.

Our AV team is ambitious, forward-thinking and constantly challenges itself to create bespoke broadcast strategies for clients, whatever the budget. You'll work across a varied portfolio, leading the planning and buying of TV, VOD, Cinema, YouTube and Sponsorship campaigns for some of our most exciting clients, spanning everything from major brand campaigns to bespoke video solutions and performance-led activity.

You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on AV expertise, helping clients understand the value of great broadcast planning whilst delivering consistently strong commercial outcomes. Alongside leading campaigns, you'll guide longer-term AV strategy, maintain exceptional audit performance, build strong relationships with media owners, and play an important role in developing and mentoring junior team members.

Working closely with client teams, commercial teams and media partners, you'll ensure every campaign is delivered to the highest possible standard while continuing to challenge convention and find new ways to create competitive advantage for our clients.

Responsibilities

As AV Account Director, you will:

  • Use media planning and buying products, tools and services to deliver best-in-class AV campaigns.
  • Work closely with internal client teams to deliver clear and effective recommendations, reporting and campaign analysis across TV, VOD, Cinema, YouTube and Sponsorship.
  • Use your planning expertise and communication skills to guide long-term AV strategy for clients.
  • Take ownership of TV and video campaign performance, ensuring delivery against commercial agreements, audit criteria, reccie positions and financial targets.
  • Lead Audits and PRIP delivery, working closely with our Commercial team.
  • Support, coach and develop junior team members, promoting best practice in campaign management and performance monitoring.
  • Build strong relationships with media owners, negotiating effectively to secure the best possible value and competitive advantage for clients.
  • Oversee the development and progression of your direct reports.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the7stars

The7stars is unlike any other agency. The distinction started the day we launched in 2005 when we named ourselves after a pub, but more importantly when we made a promise that we were going to do things differently.

This commitment has stuck with us. It guides how we work, how we think and how we treat one another – and can be expressed in a single word: Freedom.

Our Freedom philosophy lives across our entire business – from people, product and planning. It means we plan and buy media how we want, develop careers how we want, take holiday when we need it, invent tools when we need them, and give people a platform to speak up, question and express themselves freely. Most importantly, it's allowed us to create an amazing place to work.
