We are recruiting for an established technical events business looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager to join its growing team.

The company delivers technical production solutions across a diverse range of live and experiential environments, including corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, entertainment, retail activations, and special events.

This is a client-facing role suited to someone who combines strong account management and commercial skills with a good understanding of technical event production. You will take ownership of key client relationships and oversee projects from initial enquiry and quotation through to successful delivery.

The position will be based from a company facility within the Hertfordshire/Essex region, with much of the client and event activity taking place across London. Travel to other UK locations will also be required when necessary.

Salary: Negotiable - Subject to Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of established client accounts and act as their main point of contact.
  • Oversee live event projects from initial brief and quotation through to planning and delivery.
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into effective technical and operational solutions.
  • Work closely with internal technical, production, and operations teams to coordinate resources and event requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the planning and delivery process.
  • Attend events when required, supporting the coordination of technical teams, crew, and equipment.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to a consistently high standard while maintaining strong commercial awareness.
  • Participate in project reviews and internal commercial meetings.
  • Build long-term relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for additional and repeat business.
  • Help develop new opportunities through a strong understanding of client needs and the wider events market.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
