AV & Collaboration Technology Manager
We are recruiting an AV & Collaboration Technology Manager to join our Information Technology team in London.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Director, Global AV & Workplace, this Manager level role will oversee the global collaboration technology team working in conjunction with AV, UC, and Network experts to ensure seamless operational success within our footprint. The role is a member of the Workplace technology team and is responsible for managing and motivating a team of skilled IT professionals and directing external third-party service providers.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for design, deployment and governs the firm's video network, meeting platforms, and digital workplace technology infrastructure globally.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all backend products, firmware, and security compliance while focusing on minimizing impact on the firm's day-to-day operations.
- Responsible for the end-to-end governance, delivery, and operational excellence of the firm's collaboration technologies.
- Oversee the standardization of collaboration platforms and tools.
- Ensure the readiness and reliability of meeting spaces and systems.
- Provide leadership across internal teams and external partners to deliver consistent, high-quality user experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own global collaboration platform roadmap (Zoom, Pexip, Utelogy, Webex, Condeco, etc.).
- Define governance, security, and lifecycle standards.
- Lead regional collaboration teams across EMEA, Americas, and APAC.
- Oversee vendor relationships and platform contracts.
- Drive adoption, training, and change management programs.
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.
- Advise leadership on digital workplace transformation.
- Develop customer relationships with fee earners and business teams to manage the delivery of optimization and management of the firm's collaboration ecosystem.
- Support the Technology Services leadership team collectively to define, implement, and operate the firm's AV collaboration ecosystem.
- Work with stakeholders from UC and Network to align roadmap and support strategies.
- Act as the focal point for matters related to optimization and management of the firm's collaboration ecosystem, providing expert guidance to other teams when required.
- Support service provider reviews to assess performance against service targets, drive innovation, and ensure any remediation activities are being delivered.
- Contribute to the management of the firm's collaboration ecosystem budget and benefits delivery, developing estimates, and tracking performance against plans.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for continuous improvement in the optimization and management of the firm's collaboration ecosystem.

Key Requirements
- Direct or related experience in video collaboration, preferably within the legal or professional services sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of video networks, UC, cloud-based solutions, management software, and their operational configurations.
- Knowledge of IT strategic planning, design, and operations processes.
- Proven project management capabilities.
- Knowledge of current IT and data market trends and technology innovations.
- Proven track record of managing teams.
- At least 5 years background in the IT industry, with experience managing video infrastructure.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven business acumen and ability to understand how they add value to the function, firm, or clients.
- Ability to lead and develop team members.
- Promotes the firm's values at all times and is comfortable working with a wide range of people and departments.
