We are a family-run, Audio Visual (AV) company delivering high-quality installation projects across the UK and internationally. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, strong client relationships, and a hands-on, supportive team culture.

We are seeking an experienced AV Commissioning Engineer to play a key role in delivering exceptional AV installations worldwide. This position combines technical expertise, leadership, and international project experience, making it ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, project-based environments.

As a central member of the team, you will be responsible for the final commissioning and testing of systems, ensuring that the finished solution works as intended from a technical and end-user perspective. You will also take responsibility for mentoring engineers, maintaining strong client relationships, and upholding the values of a close-knit family business while contributing to its continued growth and success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Travel extensively throughout the UK and internationally to support project delivery and client requirements
  • Commission and test commercial AV systems to ensure they operate in line with project specifications and customer requirements
  • Verify the performance of audio, video, control, conferencing, and AV-over-IP systems through structured testing processes
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase
  • Work closely with project and installation teams to address commissioning issues and achieve successful project delivery
  • Test user interfaces and system functionality to ensure an intuitive and reliable end-user experience
  • Complete commissioning documentation, test records, and system sign-off reports accurately
  • Support system demonstrations, customer handovers, and end-user training where required
  • Build positive relationships with customers and act as a professional technical representative of the company on site
  • Provide technical support and guidance to installation engineers and junior team members
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Installations teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the highest quality standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain certifications as required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
