Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT/Audio Visual - Technical Services Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing the delivery of complex technology solutions across multiple construction fit-out projects in London. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of IT and AV systems, delivering high-quality results on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of IT and AV systems for construction fit-out projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality, time, and budget expectations
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their technology needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring their requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution of projects, from design and planning to installation and commissioning
- Technical Expertise: Oversee the design, installation, and integration of IT networks, AV systems, digital signage, video conferencing, and other related technologies
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure all technology solutions meet industry standards and client expectations
- Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability

Requirements

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the IT and AV sectors, ideally within the construction fit-out market
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, AV systems, and related technologies, including design, installation, and integration
- Project Management Skills: Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in IT, Audio Visual, Project Management, or a related field. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities
