These accounts are directly funding the provision of an MG AV team, with this individual leaving this presents a significant operational and commercial risk. Failure to fulfil these will lead to loss of £ PRF income as this role is crucial to the successful delivery of the account, this can be as much as c£100,000 for a missed PRF. It will also lead to client rejecting time sheet hours, and possibly asking for budget to be compensated back to the client if they do not see the committed resource on the account. Additionally, the AV team cannot afford to absorb tasks already being fulfilled by staff already fully allocated to other accounts, creating sustained over-utilisation and a high risk of burnout, reduced performance, and unplanned costs. This approach is unsustainable and risks disruption beyond these accounts. Resourcing these roles is essential to protect revenue, ensure service quality, and support employee wellbeing.

Is not having this role a direct, or indirect, risk to the business? Yes, very much so. The client is paying for this role directly. If they don’t see this dedicated resource then there is a very strong risk they will feel as though we are not servicing the client in the way that we had agreed.
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
