Position: AV Project Manager

Type: Contract, outside IR35

Contract duration: 6 months

Start date: ASAP

Day rate: £400 - £450 (dependent on experience)

Location: Remote, UK based (occasional travel to client sites across Europe, very minimal)

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of AV projects from inception to completion.
  • Lead and manage AV projects, ensuring they're delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and a thorough understanding of their needs.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including designers, engineers, and installers, to coordinate efforts and deliver projects successfully.
  • Oversee relationships with third party vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of services and products.
  • Provide technical guidance and support, ensuring all AV systems meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial targets are met.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and client updates.

Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in AV project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects, or strong knowledge of AV projects and the ability to deliver.
  • Strong understanding of AV technologies, including video conferencing systems, digital signage, sound systems, and control systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem solving and decision making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Asana).
