AV Site Manager

At Cinos we deliver innovative Audio Visual, Video Conferencing and Collaboration solutions to some of the UK’s leading organisations. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced and driven AV Site Manager to join our expanding Audio Visual Delivery team in and around London and the South.

About the Role

The role of AV Site Manager is to ensure the successful installation of high-quality Audio-Visual installations in line with company standards and processes.

• Carry out works to the agreed project plan, ensuring all checkpoint dates and key objectives are completed.
• Ensure any required daily or weekly progress reporting is completed.
• Responsibly manage on-site resource and appropriately delegate onsite tasks to other assigned engineers.
• Allow where appropriate and possible for excess resource to be released to other projects whilst highlighting any requirements for additional or task-specific resource to the Project Manager.
• Build positive and productive relationships with the client, their on-site project representatives, and other third-party trades to ensure project delivery and design specification are met.
• Handle any issues of low-level escalation directly between on-site engineers, other trades, clients, and end users whilst keeping the project manager informed and up to date.
• Escalate any higher-level issues or actions direct to the Project Manager.
• Develop a good understanding of the system design, its specification, and functionality to a point where the AV Site Manager is able to interface with the client to discuss elements of the project in the Project Manager's absence.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date modifications to any live on-site project documentation required as part of the Cinos project process or specifically by the client.
• Ensure a professional and productive working relationship on site with other trades, client, and end users.
• Be considerate to their needs and requirements whilst ensuring Cinos work and objectives are not impacted in a way which affects project delivery. Where that becomes a risk ensuring it is highlighted through the correct channels.
• On a large project the Project Manager may delegate certain preparation and administration tasks and responsibilities to the AV Site Manager.
• This may include day-to-day interaction with the Client’s designated representative as well as coordination of all internal activities performed by Cinos’ staff.
• Fully involved in all onsite installation activities without exception where assigned.
• This may at times include first or second fix tasks in advance of configuration works.
