AV Solutions Manager
We are looking for an experienced AV Solutions Manager to join a leading London event venue with state-of-the-art AV facilities across a range of meeting, conference and event spaces.
This is a client-facing role combining AV sales, technical solutions, live event delivery and team leadership. You will work closely with clients to understand their event requirements, develop tailored AV solutions and quotations, and help maximise the commercial performance of the AV department.
The role covers a broad range of technologies including audio, video, lighting, staging, hybrid events, video conferencing, filming, streaming, IPTV and digital signage.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients to understand their technical and event requirements.
- Develop and sell tailored AV packages and technical solutions.
- Produce detailed AV quotations covering equipment, services and associated costs.
- Identify opportunities to upsell AV services and maximise revenue.
- Support conferences, meetings, live events, hybrid events and streamed productions.
- Provide technical advice across audio, video, lighting, staging and conferencing solutions.
- Coordinate additional equipment hire, suppliers, production companies, branding and set-build requirements.
- Manage client relationships from initial enquiry through to event delivery.
- Support AV sales targets, budgets and departmental KPIs.
- Help ensure AV packages and pricing remain competitive and commercially viable.
- Support the management and development of the AV Technician team.
- Deputise for the AV Department Manager when required.
- Work closely with event, operations, IT, catering and venue teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, health & safety and operational delivery.

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within AV, live events, venues or technical production.
- Strong commercial experience selling or developing AV solutions and services.
- Experience supporting large conferences, corporate events and hybrid productions.
- Good technical knowledge across audio, video, lighting and staging.
- Knowledge of video conferencing and collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Experience with streaming, filming and video production technologies.
- Knowledge of systems such as Q-SYS, TriCaster, digital signage and IPTV would be advantageous.
- A good understanding of AV networking, LAN, Wi-Fi and IT connectivity.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supervising or managing AV/technical teams.
- Ability to produce quotations and manage multiple client requirements simultaneously.
- A calm, professional approach in a busy live-event environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends in line with event requirements.

You will play a key role in developing AV solutions for a wide variety of events while supporting the wider technical team and helping drive the growth and profitability of the AV service.
