The Job:

This is the first dedicated in-house AV support role for Arthrex UK, supporting the transition from a fully outsourced model to a more internally coordinated AV function. The role provides hands-on AV support for Innovation Point events (our UK Medical Education centre), working with UK Events, UK IT, external AV suppliers and the Business Operations Manager. It will coordinate onsite supplier activity where required, escalate technical or service issues, and help develop local AV processes as the function evolves. Dotted-line technical support from EMEA or Arthrex Inc. may be introduced in future.

You will be expected to remain actively involved in the delivery of events, coordinating with outsourced providers where required and escalating any performance, resource or technical concerns to management. The role reports to the Business Operations Manager who you will work closely with to align on priorities, manage resource planning and support the continued development of the function.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Main Objective:

  • To provide reliable hands-on AV support for onsite and offsite events, including setup, operation, troubleshooting and coordination of audio, video and lighting equipment.

  • Coordinate AV equipment rental, labour and supplier activity for offsite events where required.
  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting and equipment checks.

  • Monitor events throughout the day and resolve or escalate technical issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
