Hours: 37 per week
Annual Salary: up to £40,000 depending on experience

Join a team that's transforming the future of Audio Visual technology.

At Converge, we're passionate about delivering innovative, sustainable technology solutions that help our customers work smarter. As one of the UK's leading technology providers, we're looking for an experienced AV Technical Consultant to join our growing Pre-Sales team.

If you enjoy designing cutting-edge AV solutions, working alongside sales teams and customers, and seeing your designs come to life through successful project delivery, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As an AV Technical Consultant, you'll provide technical pre-sales expertise across a wide range of Audio Visual projects. Working closely with our Sales, Project Management, and Technical teams, you'll translate customer requirements into innovative, commercially viable AV solutions.

You'll take the lead in technical customer discussions, produce professional proposals and Statements of Work, create system designs and wiring diagrams, and ensure seamless project handovers to our delivery teams.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer engagement and solution design.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing enterprise-level Audio Visual solutions for public and private sector customers.
  • Meeting with customers to understand their technical and business requirements.
  • Producing high-quality proposals, quotations, Statements of Work, and technical documentation.
  • Creating AV system designs and wiring diagrams.
  • Supporting bid and tender submissions with technical expertise.
  • Working closely with Sales teams to provide technical pre-sales support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborating with vendor partners and third-party specialists.
  • Supporting project delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of designed solutions.
  • Carrying out site surveys and providing technical guidance during installations where required.
  • Delivering customer demonstrations, technical workshops, and internal training.
  • Maintaining accurate opportunity information within the CRM system.
  • Keeping up to date with emerging AV technologies and competitor solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
