Contract type: Fixed term (6 months) with possibility to extend
Salary: Grade 3, total remuneration range £28,925 – £32,102 pro rata per annum (depending on skills and experience). Please note, this is inclusive of a £3,000 technical supplement. We would expect to recruit up to the mid-point of the total remuneration range
Working arrangements: Full-time, 40 hour a week on a shift basis. Standard working hours between 08.00 – 18.00, Monday to Saturday. Some overtime and anti-social working will be required to support projects. This is a fully onsite role and not suitable for hybrid or remote working.

This is a varied and hands-on role at the centre of our audio-visual, technical and media services (AVTMS) operation. You will play a key part in delivering professional technical support across meetings, conferences, webinars, filming, editing and live event production, helping ensure every client and delegate has a seamless experience.
About You
You will be a confident, practical and solutions-focused technician who enjoys working with people as much as with technology. You will have a strong eye for detail, take pride in delivering excellent service, and stay calm under pressure when supporting busy live events. You will bring technical knowledge across AV systems and content production, along with the flexibility to support everything from boardroom meetings and webinars to large-scale conferences and creative filming projects.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Can Bring
- Experience in a customer-facing environment, with the confidence to support clients, speakers and colleagues professionally
- A background in video production, live events, technical theatre, creative arts or a similar technical environment
- A broad working knowledge of AV disciplines, including audio, projection, video, IT and lighting
- A relevant technical or creative arts qualification, or equivalent professional or voluntary experience
- Experience working in a venue, conference environment, production setting or content creation organisation.
