Live Business is hiring Audio-Visual Technicians (sound, lighting, and video) to work in top hotels across the United Kingdom during the 2026 season.

IMPORTANT, Contract dates: Immediate start (exact date TBC) until first week of January 2027.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate sound, lighting, and video equipment for live shows and cabarets
  • Build and update QLab sessions; download and organise show content
  • Support resident cast and visiting acts during rehearsals and performances
  • Carry out soundchecks and ensure smooth technical delivery
  • Keep all technical areas clean, safe, and well-maintained
  • Assist with basic training in sound, light, and QLab for team members
  • Report technical faults or broken equipment to the relevant team

Essential Requirements

  • Basic experience in sound and lighting operations
  • Familiarity with QLab (or willingness to learn – training provided)
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
  • Self-employed status is required
  • Based in or able to work in the UK legally

Contract & Training

Package includes:

  • £460 gross per week
  • Single room basis in the hotel
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner included

This is a live-in role, working mainly in the evenings at a single main venue, supporting live shows and visiting acts.
