Summary
We are looking for an experienced Avaloq CAPI Developer to design, build, and maintain integrations between the Avaloq Core Banking Platform and surrounding banking applications using CAPI (and related Avaloq interface technologies such as AMI). You will play a key role in extending and customizing Avaloq to meet evolving business requirements across the bank's core operations.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CAPI-based interfaces between Avaloq and external/internal banking systems.
- Perform parameterization, customization, and scripting within the Avaloq Core Banking Platform.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Build and maintain reusable, high-performing, and reliable code, following best practices for software quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and configuration issues across CAPI interfaces.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Support testing, release management, and deployment processes for Avaloq changes.
- Produce clear technical documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing CAPI interfaces in production

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in development area.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing with Avaloq, specifically using CAPI (Avaloq's scripting/customization interface).
- Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and Avaloq Script.
- Solid understanding of core banking processes and products (e.g. payments, securities trading, settlement, client onboarding, or credit/loans — tailor to your team's focus).
- Experience with the Avaloq Core Banking Platform's architecture, data model, and interface layer (CAPI/AMI).
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices and Agile ways of working.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex technical requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-have
- Experience with other Avaloq interfaces (AMI, SWIFT messaging, Reporting)
- Prior experience in a financial services or private banking environment
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow
- Avaloq certifications
- Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small technical workstreams
