Primary Objectives and Main Role

Aspects Beauty Company are seeking a Brand Ambassador to work with a reputable skincare brand. This role will suit someone with previous retail selling experience but who also has a passion for visual merchandising, as this forms a big part of the role.

The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for visiting allocated Stores monthly to drive sales and product performance, while maintaining excellent product availability, presentation and promotional compliance. The role will include actively selling and promoting the brand, engaging with customers, conducting stock checks and replenishment, maintaining promotional displays, identifying and reporting stock issues and competitor activity, and providing accurate photographic evidence and monthly reporting.

Role Overview

The key responsibility of the Avene Brand Ambassador is to represent the brand in all aspects relating to visual merchandising.

  • Following a regular and efficient journey plan, the main function of the BA will be to call on all Boots retailers within London (Zones 1-2) to merchandise stores according to brand guidelines.
  • You will be responsible for the compliance audits and backup photos required for all retailers within your area to implement all marketing actions and brand owner requirements.
  • To complete and submit all personal administration and any admin or figures required within specified timeframes to ensure all information is available and accurate.
  • Actively sell and promote the brand across allocated stores, engaging and introducing products to customers, traffic-stopping, delivering product demonstrations, supporting promotional activity and new product launches, with a clear focus on achieving agreed sales targets and KPIs.
  • To provide supreme service to the stores you visit or work in, and to customers.

Main Objectives / Typical Duties

  • You will implement effective visual merchandising in stores in order to maximise store sales.
  • Ensure all products are presented to the highest standard in line with brand owner values and guidelines.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and build influential relationships with key store personnel.
  • Provide feedback to the Senior Sales Manager, this role will see you responsible for all aspects of visual merchandising across your remit of stores.
  • To act as a brand ambassador and ensure effective communication of brand values both internally and externally.
  • To ensure that every store you visit looks the part in terms of Brand Owner expectations and merchandising and service levels meet our Brand Owner expectations.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Link sell across the range.
  • Effectively and confidently traffic stop and engage customers in order to gain incremental sales.
  • To upload pictures and audit reports for permanent and promotional fixtures within a deadline set in the correct format and file for compliance purposes.
  • To report any stock issues or discrepancies to the store/department manager and provide feedback on the audit report.

What qualities will you need to be successful?

  • A background in visual merchandising or experience of working in a store with a keen interest in visual merchandising.
  • Previous experience in selling in a retail setting (If you have sold skincare previously, this would be a distinct advantage).
  • Happy to travel from store to store and able to stay away overnight when needed.
  • A commercial approach and retail knowledge.
  • Experience within the luxury / beauty sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Friendly and approachable with the ability to communicate effectively – written, visual and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to be agile.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

What’s in it for you?

  • Salary: £29,172 per annum.
  • Hours will be 37.5 hour per week over 5 days with some occasional early morning starts to meet the needs of the business.
  • There will be at least 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday per month that you would be required to work.
