Your role at a Glance
As a Digital & Motion Designer, you will play a crucial role in bringing our brands to life through compelling, digital-first creative that drives engagement and commercial performance. Your main focus will be creating high-quality motion graphics, video content and campaign assets across multiple channels, ensuring every touchpoint is on-brand, platform-native and delivered to an exceptional standard, by working in collaboration with Brand, Growth, Ecommerce and Product teams.
This role is ideal for someone with a creative eye for detail and a proactive, adaptable mindset, who is excited to work in a fast-paced, growing business with a talented team. Your work will directly impact Avenir Collective's portfolio of consumer brands, helping shape how millions of customers discover, engage with and experience our products across every digital channel.
Location & Flexibility
- Full-time, permanent role based at our modern office in Holborn, London
- 40 hours per week, 9 am to 6 pm with a one-hour lunch
- This position is hybrid, with the expectation to go to the office 2-3 days per week
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Create motion graphics, animations and video content across social, paid, ecommerce and digital platforms.
- Build and maintain brand systems, guidelines and Figma templates across multiple brands
- Execute 360 campaign creative across social, paid, email, retail and trade
- Own end-to-end short-form video production: shoot support, edit, grade and delivery
- Build reusable motion template libraries in After Effects and Figma per brand
- Translate brand creative into digital-first, platform-native formats
- Produce and adapt assets across all ratios and specifications: 9:16, 1:1, 16:9 and beyond
- Art direct and support on-set content capture for product and lifestyle shoots
- Use AI video and image tools (Adobe Firefly, Runway or Kling, Midjourney) as part of your daily production workflow, and Claude, ChatGPT or Perplexity to research trends, references and platform best practice ahead of production

About The Ideal Candidate
- 3–6 years in digital and motion design: in-house or agency, FMCG or consumer brand
- Portfolio showing motion, video and digital work across multiple platforms and formats
- Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Figma: motion handoff, templates and design systems
- Expert in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Comfortable using Claude, ChatGPT or Perplexity for research and ideation, alongside AI production tools (Adobe Firefly, Runway, Kling, Midjourney)
- Confident using Monday.com or a comparable tool to track deliverables and deadlines
- Strong understanding of platform specs across social and ecom channels
- Eye for brand consistency and quality across every format and output
- Comfortable producing work at pace across multiple brands simultaneously

Preferred experience:
- Able to self-shoot social content: stills and short-form video to a high standard
- Comfortable in front of and behind the camera for UGC-style and product content
- Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender or 3D motion
- Beauty, personal care or wellness FMCG background, a growing priority as the team's focus shifts toward health & beauty
Portfolio required:
- Show motion, video and digital channel work. Static-only portfolios will not be reviewed.

- Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 per year
