The role involves configuring, developing, and maintaining AVEVA System Platform applications, including object templates, graphics, and system architecture for industrial automation projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing customer requirements, designing and implementing SCADA/HMI solutions, and integrating AVEVA System Platform with field devices and control systems. Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, accurate documentation, and adherence to industry standards is a key part of this position.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret system data, diagnose issues, and contribute to solution design
- Communication skills to collaborate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and customers, both verbally and in writing
- Information Technology skills, including experience with industrial automation software, networks, and Windows-based environments
- Hands-on experience with AVEVA System Platform (formerly Wonderware System Platform), including configuration and deployment of SCADA/HMI systems
- Background in automation and control systems is preferred, with familiarity in PLCs, OPC, and field instrumentation.
- Ability to work on-site and remotely, manage multiple projects, follow safety and quality standards, and adapt to evolving customer requirements.
- Relevant technical qualification or degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
