Aviation Projects Operations Manager
Dublin (flexible on location in UK)
Outsource's client, Exolum, is one of the world's leading fuel infrastructure and logistics businesses, operating critical aviation fuel networks that support major airports across Europe and beyond. Exolum plays a vital role in ensuring aviation fuel infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently and ready for operation.
Due to continued exciting growth within its Global Midstream Aviation division, Exolum is seeking an Aviation Operations Manager to lead the commissioning, operational readiness and transition of major aviation infrastructure projects.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global aviation team at the point where major projects become live operational assets. Working across airport environments, you'll take ownership of commissioning activities, operational readiness planning, mobilisation and handover to operations. You'll work closely with engineering, project delivery and airport operations teams to ensure facilities are tested, compliant and fully prepared for day one operations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
