AVIATION SECURITY DUTY MANAGER
Information
Salary range: £38k - £42,230
Shift system: Four on four off, rotating between days and nights. 12hr shifts
Hours: Twelve hours per duty with an average of forty-two hours per week.
Requirements:
- Must have been in the UK over 3 years
- Must have a clean Criminal Record
- MUST Not have any colour Vision deficiencies
Job Role
- Have direct responsibility for all supervisors and security agents on shift, ensuring all contractual shifts and positions are covered with fully trained security agents.
- Maintain the professional level of the operation.
- Achieve and maintain full compliance with the regulator, airport, and MITIE standards.
- Maintenance of client and company procedures.
- Daily reporting with the MITIE senior manager on all operational areas and concerns.
- Report and log any disciplinary or performance issues as soon as they arise.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the senior manager.
- Ensure quality of services provided by MITIE matches customer requirements.
- Ensure all CAA procedures are maintained.
- Promote MITIE positively with customers and their staff.
- Ensuring sufficient manning / equipment is available to carry out operations to expected standards.
- Deal with any problems that arise amongst personnel during shift.
- Consult with all supervisors to ensure effective communication levels are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all equipment testing is carried out.
- All paperwork is checked for completeness and compliance with site requirements.
- Ensure the identification process is followed in line with requirements, with a focus on ID passes and validation against requirements.
- Staff assessments carried out against the set number of disciplines.
- Surveillance and patrol requirements are met as per the site strategy along with incident reporting.
- Proactive management of the employee resource.
- Oversee all HR processes for the team.
- Daily team management to ensure standards and compliance are maintained and exceeded.
