Join ALTEN as an Avionics Systems Verification & Validation Engineer and play a pivotal role in the development, certification, and verification of electric aviation platforms. You will work at the intersection of systems engineering, safety, certification, and V&V.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and validate aircraft, system, and component-level requirements.
  • Apply SAE ARP4754A and ARP4761 processes to support safety assessments and certification planning.
  • Author, execute, and maintain verification plans, procedures, and test reports.
  • Perform system behavior modeling and support test automation and data analysis.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience on Part 23 or 27 aircraft or rotorcraft programs.
  • Strong knowledge of SAE ARP4754A, ARP4761, FAA Order 8110.4C, DO-160G, DO-331, and DO-178C.
  • Proficiency with ALM and verification tools (Polarion, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience with solid modeling tools (Onshape, SolidWorks, CATIA).
