SI AVP Business Analyst – BPI Issuing ARIC Migration Programme

Location: Northampton

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite

Level: AVP

Contract: SI / Contract

Programme: BPI – Issuing ARIC Migration

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SI AVP-level Business Analyst to support the BPI – Issuing ARIC Migration Programme, a strategically important and business-critical transformation initiative.

The programme involves the migration from the existing TRIAD platform to ARIC, impacting core business processes, controls, decision-making, governance, customer outcomes and regulatory obligations. The role will provide dedicated business analysis capability to ensure requirements are clearly defined, stakeholders are effectively managed, and programme deliverables progress in a controlled and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, programme leadership and third-party partners to support the migration and the development of the co-dependent Issuing/Acquiring ARIC platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities across the BPI Issuing ARIC Migration programme.
  • Elicit, analyse, document and manage complex business and functional requirements.
  • Understand and document current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Identify impacts of the ARIC migration across business processes, controls, governance and customer journeys.
  • Work closely with senior business, technology, risk, compliance and operational stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and requirements-gathering sessions with key stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements and actionable outcomes.
  • Develop process maps, business requirements documents, user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting analysis.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, assumptions and impacts associated with the migration.
  • Support programme governance, delivery planning and decision-making through high-quality analysis.
  • Work with technology and delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and appropriately delivered.
  • Support testing, business readiness, implementation and transition activities.
  • Ensure traceability between business requirements, solution design, testing and delivery outcomes.
  • Support the identification and mitigation of operational, regulatory and customer-impact risks.
  • Coordinate with third-party platform providers and internal teams where required.
  • Contribute to migration planning, data/process impact assessments and implementation readiness.
  • Provide clear and concise updates to senior stakeholders and programme leadership.
  • Proactively identify issues, gaps and opportunities for improvement throughout the programme lifecycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
