AVP Front Office Risk and Controls – Private Banking - London
Sitting within the first line of defence, this is a varied and hands on role supporting the business across risk and controls, product governance, operational resilience and third party oversight.
Key responsibilities
- Complete risk and control assessments across front office activities
- Review new and existing products, processes and associated risks
- Support business continuity and operational resilience testing
- Assist with the oversight of suppliers and outsourced services
- Monitor controls and produce risk reporting for senior stakeholders
- Support the resolution of incidents and Audit or Compliance findings
- Help the business implement proportionate controls and process improvements
- Provide practical risk advice to front-office and operational teams

- Experience within risk, controls, compliance or a front office risk role
- Experience within private banking, wealth management or a related banking environment
- Comfortable working within the first line of defence and engaging directly with the business
- Proactive, analytical and able to take ownership of delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
