About the Role
The AVP, Partner Management is responsible for the overall partner management strategy, execution, and business impact across the organization. This position establishes the vision and operational framework for how the company engages with, develops, and scales its partner ecosystem to drive revenue growth and customer success.
The AVP, Partner Management oversees the partner business manager teams — ensuring consistent execution, strong partner performance, and alignment with the company's long-term strategic objectives.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
- Define and execute the global partner management strategy aligned to corporate growth objectives — leading the global partner management organization, overseeing regional leaders and strategic partner initiatives across various partner types, and driving cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver a unified partner experience.
- Establish scalable frameworks for joint business planning, governance, and performance management — identifying emerging markets, ecosystem trends, and new routes to market to expand the partner footprint while orchestrating the budgeting process including strategy, allocation, and reconciliation.
- Set organizational vision and collaborate with senior management to define and ensure success of departmental strategy — establishing operating policies, procedures, and management practices to deliver operational excellence while serving as a strategic influencer to internal and external peer industry groups and customers.
- Provide managerial direction and oversee all aspects of performance management for direct reports and teams — ensuring management teams define and hold teams accountable for performance standards and overseeing all Human Resources-related functions including hiring, compensation management, employee relations, and termination.
- Develop future leaders and build a management team bench capable of meeting the demands of rapid growth — identifying leadership potential within the team aligned to the people strategy and overseeing the identification and hiring of new management and strategic roles.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex and high-level issues — providing direction and guidance to assist with resolution and removing obstacles for teams while working closely with stakeholders and business leaders to drive collaborative outcomes across departments.

Role Essentials
You'll be set up for success if you have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 15+ years of experience in a related field — including a minimum of 8–10 years of prior management experience at a relevant senior level
- Demonstrated fiscal responsibility and accountability in managing budgets — with exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to drive strategic and operational decision-making
- Exceptional leadership, sound judgment, and business acumen — with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing partner management organizations and developing future leaders
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills — with the professional demeanor and ability to interact with executive presence, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver engaging, compelling presentations
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations — with exceptional collaboration, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills to gain consensus and trust across the organization
What We'd Like to See
Bonus points if you bring:
- Proven experience identifying emerging markets, ecosystem trends, and new routes to market — with a track record of expanding partner footprints and scaling partner ecosystems in global or EMEA environments
- Experience establishing scalable frameworks for joint business planning, governance, and partner performance management across diverse partner types and regions
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and provide timely feedback to team members — with a track record of identifying leadership potential and building management bench strength capable of supporting rapid organizational growth
- Strong technology curiosity and aptitude — with experience leveraging technology to improve partner management effectiveness, reporting, and operational excellence
- Experience serving as a strategic influencer to internal and external peer industry groups or customers — with a proven ability to serve as an escalation point for complex, high-stakes issues and drive effective resolution across teams
